Many people are fascinated by the life of trees. I am one of those people. I believe trees are sentient living beings that need to be respected and treated as such.

But, trees are much more than that. Trees can express and evoke in us certain feelings and moods. This gallery features a collection of tree images that expressed different feelings and emotions in me.

Sometimes it can be the species of a tree that can evoke feelings, such as pine trees always give me a feeling of freshness or Joshua trees project a feeling of uniqueness as they are significantly different from most other trees. Other characteristics that can evoke feelings include the shape, color, size, texture and aroma.

If you see a tree in my portfolio, it’s because it evoked a feeling or mood in me that I wanted to capture.
